Stefanie started her matchmaking career in 1999 at the age of 24. Since then, she has successfully paired thousands of singles, including her Mom, who married in 2001. Matchmaking takes a necessary intuition and the ability to read people. She found her calling and passion early on in life, even matching college friends who remain together today. From those early beginnings, Stefanie has grown into a master matchmaker with the experience and knowledge to shake things up a bit. She worked directly for the owners of several different matchmaking services during her career and saw the good as well as the bad. After witnessing some of the procedures and tactics these firms practiced, she knew she could improve the way things were done. The Connection was born to enable Stefanie to shine her light into personal matchmaking and make it brighter and more honest. That light pushed bad policies out of the shadows and made matchmaking what it should be, a place to connect with potential soul mates and a brighter future.
By limiting the number of clients she accepts, Stefanie has created a path to success for her clients, because her rule has always been quality versus quantity. Most firms burden their matchmakers with 30+ clients, which is the industry norm. This means those clients do not receive the care and attention they deserve. Stefanie limits the number of clients she will take on and match. She is proud of her accomplishments and is more focused on relationships than how many clients she can acquire.
